The theme was "Flora". So many ideas, so little time. Each idea grander than the next. Then the reality of life, time, vacation, responsibilities, commitments, and so forth set in and the possibility of the grand and perfect art quilt evaporated. Nonetheless, the challenge is complete. This piece started with a favorite piece of hand-painted fabric from Ruth Anne Olson. The painted "Wild Petals" are like my often wild and scattered ideas.

Wild Petals
The theme was "Flora". So many ideas, so little time. Each idea grander than the next. Then the reality of life, time, vacation, responsibilities, commitments, and so forth set in and the possibility of the grand and perfect art quilt evaporated. Nonetheless, the challenge is complete.
