I've been having a hard time with our "Sky" theme. I think what's had me stumped is how do I represent something that can be so glorious?
Then I read the following passage in The Book Thief:
People observe the colors of a day only at its beginnings and ends, but to me it's quite clear that a day merges through a multitude of shades and intonations, with each passing moment. A single hour can consist of thousands of different colors. Waxy yellow, cloud-spat blues. Murky darknesses.... I make it a point to notice them.
Well, I've taken my cue from this passage. I've been watching the sky and learning just how true the above statement is. I think I now know what I'm going to do.
